When looking closely at the landscape there are various signs and tracks of the past to be found that have inscribed themselves into it. This helps us to better understand how different transformative processes may influence a strip of land in the future. The work Über Normal Null / Just Above Sea Level inspects the coast of the Baltic Sea in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and documents the numerous complex influences that have an effect on this coastal area and that formed it in the past. Human made architectural interventions as well as ongoing natural forces shape the appearance of the landscape to this day. Über Normal Null / Just Above Sea Level creates a contemporary record of an ever changing Landscape.
